Rally: Say 'No' to cash for trees
Rally: Thursday, June 15th. Join concerned Sydneysiders in front of NSW Minister for the Environment Gabrielle Upton's office at 330 New South Head Road, Double Bay, on Thursday 15th June, 2017 at 8:30am to protect our local trees and wildlife and say "no" to new cash for trees legislation.
The NSW Government's proposed Urban Vegetation Scheme is a green light for developers to clear Sydney's bushland, including the home of its last healthy koala population in Campbelltown. If passed, developers will simply be able to pay cash into a fund to clear any land in Sydney or NSW, regardless of threatened species or habitat. Details at http://bit.ly/2qChTLw
